Izzo 6 inch ABS Tamborim - Black

The tamborim is a small, shallow, high pitched drum. The shell or body is normally made of wood, metal or plastic, and is topped with a tensioned drum head. To play the tamborim, you use a beater (or baqueta). They are used in samba bands and groups to highlight particular rhythmic motives, a task for which they are well suited to thanks to their high pitched tone which cuts through the musical layers of the band.
