Funki is a set of musical instruments specially designed for users with intellectual and other cognitive disabilities.

We are so happy that you found your way to our musical world. My name is Maria, and together with one of my best friends Josefine, we have invented four different accessible instruments. Do you know what's special about them? They are all connected with each other, making it possible for anyone to play music together with others.
Funki instruments look a bit like small synthesizers. They connect with WiFi to an app, where you can choose from a wide variety of sounds and soundsets, to create music, soundscapes or just make funny noises. The instruments can be played together with other Funki instruments, but also together with traditional instruments. So that everyone can play together!
Each instrument features two built-in speakers and they can be used anytime, anywhere. You do not have to have them connected to the app to be able to play. They also run on batteries, in case you want to take them with you and jam outside for example.
The instruments come in four different variants, with four different ways of interaction. You can see pictures and read a more detailed description on our website: www.funki.se. All Funki instruments are handmade in Sweden from sustainable, locally-sourced materials. They are made to be both durable and easy to clean.
