At Normans Musical Instruments, our passion for music goes hand in hand with our commitment to making a positive impact on the world. That's why we're thrilled to announce our committment to the SME Climate Hub, marking a significant step towards a greener future.
The SME Climate Hub is a non-profit global initiative that empowers small to medium sized companies to take climate action and build resilient businesses for the future. The Hub is an initiative of the We Mean Business Coalition, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and the United Nations Race to Zero campaign in collaboration with Normative and the Net Zero team at Oxford University.
Committing to the SME Climate Hub is a pivotal moment for us. It signifies our dedication to addressing the urgent issue of climate change. Our pledge is clear: we aim to halve our emissions by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. This commitment aligns with our values and our responsibility to contribute to a more sustainable world.
Our journey towards sustainability encompasses every facet of our operations. From rethinking our production processes to optimizing our supply chain, we're dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint. We believe that by taking these steps, both big and small, we can make a meaningful difference.
Transparency is crucial in our commitment to climate action. That's why we're committing to annual reporting on our progress. We want to be held accountable and ensure that our efforts to reduce emissions are tangible and measurable.
At Normans Musical Instruments, we remain committed to fostering creativity, education and community. Through our commitment to sustainability, we're striving to create a world where music thrives in harmony with a healthier planet.
