Lightweight, Portable Design - Take it Anywhere!

The most prominent feature in all of the Yamaha Piaggero series keyboards is their compact design combined with maximum functionality. "Piaggero," the name of the NP-Series, combines "Piano" with the word "leggero," a musical term meaning, "light." As the name states, the NP35 is extremely light, weighing only 6kg, making it ideal for taking it on the road with you or storing it away easily. A power adaptor is included, but it also runs on batteries making it possible for you to play wherever you are!

Powerful, Resonant Sound

Yamaha’s acoustic technology furnishes the Piaggero’s powerful sound - a sound that belies its compact size, featuring resonant grand piano-style bass notes and beautifully detailed treble tones. The Piaggero features the sound of a Yamaha full concert grand, the CFIIIS. The sound was sampled from a piano with a bright, transparent tone, a spacious treble, and an overall solid sonic feel. The NP35 is equipped with a larger amplifier than the smaller NP15, for a more robust bass and greater overall volume.

Like conventional pianos, the keys on the NP35 are heavier in the bass register and lighter in the treble (Graded Soft Touch Keys).

The Record/Playback function will allow you to quickly record your practice and check your progress or capture your ideas and there's even a headphone jack for silent practice and sustain pedal connection. 

Range of Connectivity Options

The USB B connection allows you to connect your Piaggero instrument to your computer for MIDI communication for music production or link to your iOS device. Connect the instrument to Yamaha’s "Smart Pianist" app, developed exclusively for use with Yamaha’s digital pianos, for even more intuitive operation. If you want to take a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube, TikTok and so on, Rec'n'Share is the way to go. Connect the Piaggero to your smart device and record both video and audio at the same time to complete your video.
